It is necessary to develop a comprehensive and thorough treatment plan for the solid waste generated by the city. The purpose of comprehensive treatment is to concentrate all kinds of waste in the city to a certain location, and combine various waste treatment processes into a system according to the characteristics of solid waste, so as to make reasonable centralised use of the materials and energy obtained by each process. Through comprehensive treatment, the waste can be effectively disposed of, the final waste discharge can be reduced, the environmental pollution to the region can be minimised, and the spread of secondary pollution can be prevented, while keeping the total treatment cost low and the resource utilisation efficiency high.
